Volunteers needed for:
1) Breakout Session Workshop Leaders (5 volunteers needed)
Shifts: 10:00am-11:00am, 1:00pm-2:00pm
Put together an engaging presentation on one of five topics (Multimedia and Technology: Website Development, Blogging, Making Videos; Finance: Fundraising and Partnerships; Leading Operations: Recruiting and Managing Your Team of Volunteers; Storytelling: Branding, Social Media Marketing, and PR; Surveys and Statistics: Metrics to Measure Impact) to teach high school students the skills they'll need to make their service project great! Choose from one of two shifts. You need only present your workshop once.
2) Tabling at the Youth Service Expo (5-10 volunteers needed)
Shift: 11:00am-1:00pm
Bring some flyers and recruit some teen volunteers! You must work for a (501)(3) nonprofit. Please bring your own table if possible.
3) Project Coaches/Mentors (5-10 volunteers needed)
Shifts: 11:00am-1:00pm, 2:00pm-4:00pm
Go around to the teams and help our students hone their pitches and make them great!
4) Pitch Night Judges (2-4 volunteers needed)
Shift: 4:00pm-5:30pm
Listen to the pitches of our student teams and help us decide who wins the grant to jumpstart their project!
